I will gladly send you enough material to cover any vehicle. Don't be fooled by "do it yourself" kits that make you purchase glue that may not be the quality I can walk you through most headliner repairs online or over the phone. That's what I do. Tired of your original headliner disintegrating into your hair?
Too embarrassed to give people rides in your rig? Pros use a pressure pot and spray gun to adhere the headliner—an aerosol-based spray adhesive will not work for a headliner installation, contrary to popular belief. Instead, most hardware retailers carry contact cement (the same as used by interior shops). Lay on the adhesive with a small brush (available for less than a dollar from the same hardware store) instead of using a spray gun and compressor, and then chuck the brush when you're done. Finally, stretch your back before starting the project so you won't get sore from crawling around the interior with your body at weird angles. |
